Introducing IV Therapy at Bennett Integrative Health

Something new is flowing at Bennett Integrative Health.
At Bennett Integrative Health, we believe feeling your best starts with care that considers the whole person. That’s why we’re excited to introduce IV therapy as a new option for our patients!
What Is IV Therapy?
Intravenous, or IV therapy delivers fluids and any added nutrients directly into the bloodstream through a small catheter placed in a vein. Formulations typically fall into categories of hydration, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
A Personalized Approach to IV Therapy
Your health history and goals are unique, and your care should reflect that. Before recommending an IV treatment, you'll have a consultation with our NP to discuss your concerns & medical history to help determine whether an infusion is a suitable option. The right approach depends on your individual circumstances. If IV therapy isn’t appropriate for you, we can discuss other ways to support your health.
What to Expect
Our registered nurse will place a small IV catheter into an arm vein so the prescribed solution can be administered. Treatment time depends on the volume & formulation, but typically lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.
What are the risks?
IV therapy isn’t for everyone. Potential risks include discomfort or bruising at the IV site, infection, allergic reactions, and fluid or electrolyte problems. Certain health conditions and some medications may affect whether a particular infusion is appropriate. We’ll help you weigh the potential benefits and risks and make an informed decision.
